Job summary

Kronospan in Anniston, Alabama, is seeking a production operator to perform VITS paper packing, labeling, and product inspection. You will enter data into Kronospan's Operations System and move materials with a forklift as needed on the production line.

You will also assist maintenance staff during troubleshooting or preventive tasks to support uninterrupted manufacturing. Ability to read technical instructions, work with tools, and lift up to 50 lbs is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions of a technical nature.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate heavy machinery.
• Ability to be trained and become certified to operate a forklift.
• Ability to comprehend and manipulate metric measurements.
• Ability to work effectively with other members of the facility team.

Responsibilities

• Pack, inspect, and label products per work orders.
• Enter product data into Kronospan Operation System.
• Operates forklift to move paper and materials between departments and loading areas.
• Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and participate in continuous production improvements.
