Job Description

Starting wage $20 to $27 per hour plus shift premiums! We are seeking career-minded individuals for production work. We will train you in entry-level jobs in the mill, which is an industrial environment. The work includes operation of paper and pulp manufacturing machinery and forklifts. Workers must have the ability to learn entry jobs and move up to other machinery operating roles. Production workers are hourly union positions and must be able to work day and night shifts as scheduled. Please read qualifications and information carefully.

Qualifications

• Industrial or manufacturing work experience with a good work record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a physical abilities test.
• Ability to work rotating shifts (day shift and night shift).
• Ability to stand during a 12-hour shift.
• Willingness to work some weekends and holidays, as the mill operates 24/7/365.
• Flexible schedule to fill in for absences and meet the mill's needs (initially variable days off, full-time hours).
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Additional Information

• Pay starts at $20 per hour for the first 30 days, increasing to $26-$27 after 90 days, or more depending on position.
• Production job rates range from $24.23 to $35.47 per hour, based on position and seniority. All hours worked on Sundays are paid at time-and-a-half. Night shift premium is $.94 per hour.
• Benefits after 90 days include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, 401(k), and 13 paid holidays annually.
• New employees undergo a 6-month probationary period.
