Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass company written test: Rules & Gauges, Numerical Ability, Reading, and Bennett Mechanical aptitude.
• Effective communication and ability to work in a heavy industrial environment.
• Read to perform tasks from reports, gauges, signs, etc.

Responsibilities

• Cut paper cores to proper length as per order and plug appropriate ends.
• Remove cores from storage area.
• Assist in startup of winder under instruction of winder machine operator.
• Empty garbage cans and remove wastepaper for proper disposal.
• Assist in cleanup of basement during down time.
• Empty the vacuum deposit system.
