ProAmpac in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Assistant Operator to support the paper bag manufacturing line. You will help set up machines, monitor production, perform routine maintenance, and ensure quality control throughout the process.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, ability to read safety instructions, and teamwork. You will also assist with packaging, labeling, and proper housekeeping while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of machine operation and production processes.
• Ability to read and understand English safety guidelines and instructions.
• Basic math skills for measurements and production calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in setup and operation of paper bag machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor the production line and address operational issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting with hand tools.
• Conduct quality checks throughout production per GMP guidelines.
• Assist with packaging and labeling and maintain records.
• Keep work area clean and organized and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Operate forklift for material handling as needed.
• Communicate production status and issues to supervisors.
