ProAmpac is hiring a production/warehouse associate at our Cincinnati, OH facility. You will operate paper bag machines, ensure quality output, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting production schedules.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, strong math/communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team or independently. Excellent benefits and holiday pay are included.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of product/industrial machinery experience preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience required.
• Job stability – recent employment history.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Mansioni

• Operate paper bag machines safely and produce quality products with minimal scrap.

Major Function:

Responsible to operate paper bag machines in a safe manner and produce quality product with minimal scrap, meet production schedules and keep work area clean.

Primary Duties:

• Perform timely and thorough quality checks throughout the shift and record them on your shift report. Packer/Inspectors are required to perform quality checks every ½ hour.
• Perform any light maintenance that is needed on machine and communicate major issues to supervisor/lead person.
• Run and catch on a machine or run 2-3 machines with help of an assistant.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum 2-year product (plastics)or industry specific (converting)machine experience is highly preferred
• Minimum 2-year manufacturing experience is required
• Job Stability - minimum 1 job in last 2 years or 2 jobs in last 5 years
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Ability to work well in a team and as an independent contributor

Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:

• Run Equipment: you will run a paper bag machine with help of a packer. You will perform any light maintenance that is needed on assigned machine and communicate any major issues to supervisor/lead.
• Follow Instructions:you will read, understand and follow all work instructions to produce product that meet standards (production, scrap and quality).
• Ensure Compliance:you will ensure departmental compliance with all certification requirements and will maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with AIB/ISO standards. You will maintain quality of products being produced at or above the required specifications.
