Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a PAP Specialist to manage data entry, inventory, and service selection to document patient information. You will schedule pickups, provide usage instruction, and handle financial responsibility collections while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

The role involves preparing audit paperwork for Medicare and other insurance claims, coordinating with physician offices and sales/support staff to obtain documentation, and maintaining ongoing client relationships to support program

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year healthcare administrative/insurance customer service experience.
• Experience with Medicare/HME billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter payer and authorization data accurately into billing systems.
• Schedule and coordinate patient PAP device pickups and instructions.
• Communicate with referral sources and providers to obtain necessary documentation.
• Monitor device clients and ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Assist in audits and respond with documentation improvements.
