Catholic Charities of Buffalo is seeking a Per Diem General Laborer for our pantries in Buffalo, NY. This role involves unloading trucks, moving perishable and non-perishable items, and supporting pantry operations across Erie County.

The position requires teamwork and initiative, with around ten hours per week at various pantry locations. A NYS Driver's License and ability to travel between sites are needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with individuals, families, and communities in need is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsabilidades

• Unload food trucks and move food products or equipment between areas.
• Assist pantry volunteers and staff to complete tasks.
• Perform general housekeeping and ensure clean, organized work areas.
• Follow safety rules and promote team safety.
• Support food drives and occasional weekend work as directed.
• Attend staff and training meetings.
