Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming food and supply deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Organize pantry shelves and storage areas to maximize space and access.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with purchasing or kitchen staff to reorder supplies.
• Ensure all pantry items are rotated using FIFO to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the pantry area in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist kitchen staff by preparing and portioning pantry items for daily meal preparation.
• Document inventory usage and discrepancies accurately to support reporting and audits.
