About Us

From the Cipriani family, Mr. C Miami Coconut Grove is an oasis in South Florida with views of Biscayne Bay and the Coconut Grove skyline, designed by Arquitectonica with a nautical theme by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. Your Role as a Pantry Cook

We are seeking a Pantry Cook responsible for cold food items such as salads, hors d’oeuvres, and appetizers. You will prepare and season dishes, store ingredients properly, and ensure food hygiene standards are met. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential, and your contribution will help deliver a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare cold appetizers like salads, vegetable and meat roll-ups, and bruschettas.
  2. Garnish dishes with spices, nuts, fruits, and vegetables.
  3. Prepare vinaigrettes, dips, and herb-infused oils.
  4. Assist in meal prep activities such as chopping vegetables and washing fruits.
  5. Store ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
  6. Check food plating, temperature, and portion sizes.
  7. Sterilize kitchen equipment after shifts.
  8. Monitor inventory and place orders when needed.
  9. Suggest modern recipes to enhance our menu with nutritious cold dishes.
  10. Maintain cleanliness of your station at all times.
Qualifications
  1. Experience as a Pantry or Prep Cook or similar role.
  2. Proficiency with professional kitchen equipment.
  3. Knowledge of food plating techniques.
  4. Understanding of kitchen health and safety regulations.
  5. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Team-oriented attitude.
  7. Availability for shifts including evenings and weekends.
  8. Culinary degree is a plus.
