The role of Pantry creates exemplary dining experiences for guests of the resorts' food and beverage outlets, and banquet events, through preparation assistance of delectable food expressions.
A typical shift for Pantry may include the following responsibilities:
- Prepares all pantry food items according to standard pantry recipes or as otherwise specified by supervisor to ensure consistency of product to the guest.
- Preparation includes but is not limited to; salads, fruits, juices, dressings, sauces, canapes, cocktails and other cold dishes.
- Manages food inventory and keeps all ingredients properly refrigerated and stored.
- Maintains a clean workstation in compliance with Health Department regulations and guidelines.
- Visually inspects, selects, and uses only the freshest of products of the highest standard in the preparation of all menu items.
- Prepares requisition for supplies and food items for production in workstation. Will also date and rotate product accurately.

Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses intermediary culinary skills with previous professional cooking experience and the ability to handle high volume, fast-paced service. Experience in a hotel kitchen and ServSafe certification strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate is also someone with the following skills and abilities:
- Speak, read and write in the English language.
- Skilled with various knives.
- Able to follow recipes, some of which require specialized techniques, and reproduce at varying quantities.
- Basic mathematical skills sufficient to understand recipes, measurements, requisition amounts and portion sizes.
- Has the ability to use manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment, lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs, or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighting up to 500lbs.
- Working knowledge of food safety guidelines and associated equipment.
- Ability to multi-task and prepare multiple orders at one time while ensuring quality for each dish prepared.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and engage in considerable physical activity on a consistent basis.
- Ability to work in varying environments including heat and cold.
- Available and willing to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Team player and must be able to work with limited supervision.
- TB clearance required.
