Job summary

Divcon is seeking a Wiring Technician to join our manufacturing team in Fargo, ND. You will be responsible for the physical assembly, wiring, and testing of industrial control panels, fabricating panels from schematics and work instructions, and performing layout and termination to meet project specifications.

You will ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery while assisting with light shop upkeep as needed; typical duties include assembling subassemblies and maintaining a clean, organized

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• 2+ years of experience in control panel assembly or wiring.
• Strong working knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and panel shop best practices.
• Proficiency using common assembly tools including hand drills, termination screwdrivers, wire cutters, and other hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and wire control panels using technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Perform panel layout, component mounting, and wiring/termination to meet project specifications.
• Produce UL508 control panels for commercial and mission-critical applications.
• Test completed panels to verify proper function and identify wiring/issues.
• Troubleshoot and correct wiring errors, component malfunctions, and build discrepancies.
