Job summary
Hartfiel Automation, Inc. in Eden Prairie, MN is hiring a Panel Wirer to assemble electrical and mechanical components, build control panels and enclosures, and perform final testing. A HS diploma/GED with 2+ years in electrical assembly is required; electronics/robotics-related degrees are a bonus.
The role is full-time, in-office with comprehensive benefits; lifting up to 40 pounds is required. You will follow job folders, read orders, and use hand tools to create reliable panels, contributing

- Degree in Electronics, Fluid Power or Robotics is a bonus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Build products following Hartfiel Automation job folders including control panel assembly, valve stacking, fitting installation, labeling and testing.
- Perform point-to-point wiring on industrial-scale panels and run final tests on assemblies.
- Collaborate with sales to develop new products; contribute ideas to improve processes.
- Maintain safe, clean work area and follow quality processes as part of the Hartfiel team.

As a Panel Wirer, you'll bring electrical and mechanical assemblies to life, using your wiring skills and a working knowledge of Industrial Automation to build control panels and enclosures our customers count on. If you've got panel building experience, even better!
A high school diploma or GED and two years or more of hands-on electrical assembly or wiring experience is what we're looking for. A degree in Electronics, Fluid Power, or Robotics is a bonus but not required!
- Build products following Hartfiel Automation job folders. This can include control panel assembly, valve stacking, fitting installation, pulling and reading orders, labeling, and testing finished products.
- Put your point-to-point wiring skills to work on industrial-scale panels.
- Run final tests on completed assemblies to make sure everything works just right.
- Team up with our sales group to help develop new products.
- Bring your ideas to the table; we're always looking for ways to do things better.
- Use shop tools safely and take pride in keeping your workspace clean and organized.
