Job summary

Amatrol is hiring for a manufacturing associate in Jeffersonville, IN. You will operate and maintain printers and a laser cutter, learn from the ground up, and contribute to producing components to specification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience with attention to detail.
• Prefer experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic PC skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and product documents in English.
• Demonstrate strong problem solving skills.
• Good knowledge of hand tools.
• Lifts 25 lbs regularly.
• Strong organization and ability to work independently.
• Dependable – arrive at 6:00 am.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain metal printing and cutting equipment: Mimaki flatbed printer, HP flatbed printer, Kern laser cutter, and Timesaver refinishing machines.
• Train from the ground up to learn how to produce products and components to specifications.
• Select appropriate materials to use in production per setup instructions.
• Monitor machine performance during the printing or machining processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and clean machines.
• Identify component defects and take corrective action.
