Job summary

Amatrol in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician for operating and maintaining metal printing and cutting equipment. You will train from the ground up to produce components to specs, select materials, and monitor processes daily.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, basic PC skills, and ability to read blueprints. Expect 6:00 am start times, a 44-hour week, and a comprehensive benefits package with signing bonus opportunities.

What will you be doing?

Operate and maintain metal printing and cutting equipment: Mimaki flatbed printer, HP flatbed printer, Kern laser cutter, and Timesaver refinishing machines. Train from the ground up to learn how to produce products and components to specifications.
Select appropriate materials to use in production per setup instructions.
Monitor machine performance during the printing or machining processes. Perform preventive maintenance and clean machines.
Identify component defects and take corrective action to solve the problem.

What do you need to get the job?

2+ year’s work experience that required attention to detail. Prefer experience in a manufacturing environment.
Basic PC skills required.
Ability to learn how to read and interpret blueprints and other product specification documents in English. Experience here a plus.
Demonstrate strong problem solving skills.
Good knowledge of hand tools.
Lift 25 lbs. regularly.
Strong organization skills and ability to work independently.
Dependable – reliably arrive at 6:00 am ready to work.
High school diploma or equivalent.
