Qualifications

• Minimum five to seven years' shipyard experience.
• Three to five years' supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of CNC plasma machine, press brake, and wheelabrator.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and ABS standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand ship terminology.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production schedule and allocate resources.
• Provide technical guidance and supervise the Material Processing Dept.
• Inspect finished products for compliance with specs.
• Coordinate procurement and inventory of materials.
• Collaborate with supervisors to plan work and schedules.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality standards.
• Oversee scrap removal and material flow between yards.
