Job summary

American Association of University Women (AAUW) seeks a Manager of Programs & Panel Management in Washington, DC to lead its panel review program and multi-program grant administration. You will recruit and train reviewers, coordinate annual cycles, ensure fair scoring, and drive improvements across processes and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires strong project management, collaboration, and change leadership to advance AAUW’s mission for women and girls in education and related programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
• 5 years of progressive program management experience.
• Experience administering grant or award programs.
• Experience coordinating structured review and selection processes.
• Strong leadership and collaborative skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead AAUW’s panel review program and annual cycles with cross‑functional teams.
• Recruit, train, and engage panelists; ensure diverse, qualified panels.
• Coordinate panel meetings and manage workflow across programs.
• Monitor timing, scoring consistency, and reviewer calibration.
• Oversee grant program design, review, awards, and outcomes assessment.
• Serve as staff liaison to the Panelist Advisory Board and track budgets.
