Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking a Panel Builder in New Berlin, WI. The role involves wiring and assembling electrical panels for overhead crane units, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

You will measure conduit runs, use conduit tools, and assemble mechanical components. Must be comfortable working at heights with a safety harness and operate a scissor lift when needed.

Qualifications

Job Title: Panel Builder
Job Description

This role focuses on panel wiring and electrical assembly of overhead crane units. You will build and wire electrical panels, perform mechanical assembly, and ensure that all components meet quality and safety standards while working from blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities
  • Perform panel wiring and electrical assembly for overhead crane units in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Measure and lay out conduit runs and angles to ensure accurate and efficient routing of electrical conduit.
  • Use electric conduit tools to cut, bend, and install conduit, following interconnect and wiring diagrams.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and interconnect diagrams to assemble and wire panels correctly.
  • Assemble mechanical components associated with electrical panels and overhead crane units.
  • Perform general labor tasks related to panel building and electrical assembly as needed.
  • Work at heights while using a safety harness to install or service components as required.
  • Operate a scissor lift safely to access elevated work areas during installation or assembly.
  • Use a variety of hand tools to complete panel wiring, mechanical assembly, and general electrical tasks.
  • Inspect completed panels and assemblies to verify proper wiring, secure connections, and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical panel building experience.

Work Environment

The facility is clean and well-maintained, providing a professional and orderly workspace. Work involves both floor-level tasks and work at heights using a harness and scissor lift. You will regularly use hand tools, electric conduit tools, and other standard equipment related to panel wiring, electrical assembly, and mechanical assembly.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
