Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Electrical Control Panel Assembler in Eden Prairie, MN. This full-time role focuses on assembling, wiring, and testing industrial control panels per engineering drawings and BOMs.

You will mount components, perform wiring, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates read schematics, use hand tools, and can stand for long periods while lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical control panels and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Physically mount components such as circuit breakers, relays, terminal blocks, PLCs, enclosures; install DIN rail systems.
• Perform point-to-point wiring based on schematics and BOMs; cut, strip, crimp, label, and terminate wires.
• Verify accuracy of assemblies against documentation and perform basic electrical testing.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Communicate with engineering, supervisors, and quality personnel regarding questions or discrepancies.
