Job summary

Evonik is seeking an operations professional to operate complex systems, adjust processes to improve quality and productivity, and participate in new product trials.

You'll provide operational support, install equipment with guidance, and perform preventive maintenance while diagnosing issues. A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, with clear communication and the ability to work with guidance to plan and execute tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate complex systems, adjusting processes to optimize quality and productivity.
• Also responsible for carrying out new product trails and for generating solutions to complex inefficiencies
• Provide operational support by performing a range of route activities using existing systems and protocols.
• Help to install complex systems and conduct inspections of equipment with guidance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance routines.
• Conduct complex analyses, quality tests and inspections that require a high level of independent judgment.
• Follow the organization’s HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions; to identify and mitigate risks, and to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree from a 2-4 year program strongly preferred.
• Substitutive experience in a similar field can be considered
• Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems
• Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans or policies.
• Manages and applies safe systems of work without supervision and provides technical guidance when required.
• Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
• Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop, monitor, interpret and understand policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.
• Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.

SUMMARY Compensation & Benefits

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. The range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determine, but not limited to, geographical location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). The starting rate for this position is $30.75. Evonik offers a comprehensive benefit package, subject to plan eligibility, terms, and guidelines.
