Job summary

Evonik is seeking a production operator to operate machinery along a production line, adjust settings, and follow established processes to maintain efficiency and safety. The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and strict compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include supporting maintenance, following detailed instructions, and contributing to environmental and worker wellbeing while learning and growing within the team.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Prior manufacturing/agricultural experience is preferred but not required.
  • Eager to learn and work within a team.
  • Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills under supervision to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
  • Plans, organizes, prioritizes and oversees activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
  • Manages and applies safe systems of work with guidance.
  • Reviews and creates relevant, lucid, and effective reports.
  • Works under supervision to motivate all employees to learn, grow and develop so that they can obtain the knowledge and experience they need to help the organization reach its goals.
  • Identifies, assesses, prioritizes and manages risks in a production process.
  • Achieves full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.

  • Support the quality function by working within strict quality standards.
  • Follow basic mandatory work instructions (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguarding the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
