Job summary

Lionshead Precision Metals in Greenwood, IN is hiring for a CNC operator to set up and run Salvagnini panel-bending equipment. Earn up to $20.00/hour with a 10% night shift premium. The role features day and night shifts, Monday–Thursday, with overtime as needed, at a brand-new state-of-the-art facility. Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Salvagnini CNC preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and production drawings.
• Ability to measure parts with calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Salvagnini CNC panel-bending equipment.
• Select and load correct programs based on job requirements.
• Edit machine programs and bending parameters as needed to meet specifications.
• Load and position sheet metal components safely and accurately.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Ensure parts meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.

We currently are hiring for our Day shift and night shift. These shifts offer a great balance of work and family time. Employees on days work Monday to Thursday from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am on nights, and depending on the workload, we work our overtime on Fridays. Lionshead Precision Metals (previously IMC Corp) is seeking a qualified candidate that can come in and hit the door running. This position is hourly, and the rate is based on experience.

Some general job duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Set up and operate Salvagnini CNC panel-bending equipment.
• Select and load the correct programs based on job requirements.
• Edit machine programs and bending parameters as needed to meet blueprint specifications.
• Load and position sheet metal components properly and safely.
• Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, work instructions, and job travelers.
• Produce parts with multiple accurate bends while maintaining production efficiency.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections.
• Measure completed parts using calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues involving programs, material placement, bend angles, and part quality.
• Make appropriate machine adjustments to maintain conformance to specifications.
• Monitor material quality and notify leadership of defects or production concerns.
• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
• Follow all company safety procedures and machine-specific safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
