Job summary

Miller Pipeline, LLC is seeking a Directional Drill Operator/Locator in Panama City, FL. This role requires safe operation of directional drill equipment, strong communication, and knowledge of underground utilities.

You will travel within the area and contribute to the completion of pipeline projects with compliance to safety standards. Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, a Class A CDL with tanker endorsements, and the ability to pass operator qualification tests.

Miller Pipeline is looking for Directional Drill Operators and Locators experienced in safely drilling and pulling pipe. Successful candidates must be able to communicate effectively, have prior work experience with a directional drilling operation, and have knowledge of underground utilities.

Main Responsibilities:

Safely and effectively operate all directional drill equipment.

Identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.

Enforce Company policies and standard work procedures.

Ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations for the safety of the crew and public.

Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.

Interact with customers to explain the work procedures necessary at the worksite/residence.

Complete project paperwork as required by the customer.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to travel around the area.

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.

Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer's operator qualifications.

Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.
