Job summary

Miller Pipeline is seeking Directional Drill Operators and Locators experienced in safely drilling and pulling pipe. Candidates must communicate effectively and have knowledge of underground utilities to perform at the worksite.

Requirements include prior directional drilling experience, ability to travel around the area, a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsements, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Computer-based testing may be required, and safety rules govern all work.

Qualifications

• Prior directional drilling experience.
• Ability to travel around the area.
• Valid driver/operator license.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer’s operator qualifications.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate all directional drill equipment.
• Identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.
• Enforce Company policies and standard work procedures.
• Ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations for the safety of the crew and public.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.
• Interact with customers to explain the work procedures necessary at the worksite/residence.
• Complete project paperwork as required by the customer.
