Job summary

Miller Pipeline is looking for Directional Drill Operators and Locators in Florida for full-time positions. The role involves safely operating directional drill equipment, identifying and solving problems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards on each project site.

You will also interact with customers and complete required paperwork. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to travel within the area, and a Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; education may be substituted with experience.
• Must pass computer-based testing for local operator qualifications.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate all directional drill equipment.
• Identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.
• Enforce Company policies and standard work procedures.
• Ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations for the safety of the crew and public.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.
• Interact with customers to explain work procedures at the site/residence.
• Complete project paperwork as required by the customer.

Miller Pipeline is looking for Directional Drill Operators and Locators experienced in safely drilling and pulling pipe. Successful candidates must be able to communicate effectively, have prior work experience with a directional drilling operation, and have knowledge of underground utilities.

Main Responsibilities:

Safely and effectively operate all directional drill equipment.

Identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.

Enforce Company policies and standard work procedures.

Ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations for the safety of the crew and public.

Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.

Interact with customers to explain the work procedures necessary at the worksite/residence.

Complete project paperwork as required by the customer.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to travel around the area.

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.

Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer’s operator qualifications.

Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.
