Job summary

True Zero Technologies LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to configure and manage Palo Alto NGFW and Panorama. You will implement security policies, VPNs, NAT, and URL filtering, while ensuring compliant operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5+ years of Palo Alto experience, PCNSE preferred, and strong routing knowledge (BGP/OSPF, MPLS, VRF). You will collaborate across teams and contribute to secure cloud integrations with Azure

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of network security experience with Palo Alto Networks.
• PCNSE certification is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VRF.
• Experience with threat intelligence, WildFire, GlobalProtect, and Azure/AWS security integration.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and maintain Palo Alto NGFW and Panorama.
• Create and enforce security policies including NAT, VPN, and URL filtering.
• Identify and resolve network security, traffic inspection, and connectivity issues.
• Deploy security solutions (IDS/IPS) to protect data centers.
• Use scripting (Python, bash) and API integration to automate tasks.
• Maintain compliance documentation and best practices.
• Oversee SASE and cloud integrations like Prisma Access/Prisma Cloud.
• Troubleshoot complex traffic flows and HA failover scenarios.
• Work with IaC and scripting languages to manage API-driven workflows.

Job Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and maintain Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Panorama.
• Create and enforce security policies, including NAT, rules, VPN, and URL filtering.
• Identify and resolve network security, traffic inspection, and connectivity issues.
• Deploy security solutions (intrusion detection/prevention) to protect data centers.
• Utilize scripting (Python, bash) and API integration to automate tasks and optimize configurations.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices and maintain compliance documentation
• Oversee secure access service edge (SASE) and cloud integrations, including Prisma Access and Prisma Cloud.
• Troubleshoot complex traffic flows, SSL/TLS decryption failures, and high-availability failover scenarios during outages.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting languages like Python, Ansible, or Terraform to manage API-driven security workflows

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5+ years of network security experience, specifically with Palo Alto Networks technologies.
• Certifications: Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) is highly preferred.
• Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, and VRF.
• Skills: Experience with threat intelligence, WildFire, GlobalProtect, and Azure/AWS security integration.
• Education: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
