Qualifications

• Active RVT license in California.
• Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery.
• Strong client communication and education skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and collect laboratory samples.
• Monitor patients under anesthesia and during post-operative recovery.
• Conduct diagnostic imaging including digital radiography and prepare samples for in-house labs.
• Educate pet owners on treatment plans and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using practice management software.
• Keep the clinical environment clean, safe, and well-stocked.
