Concordia Visiting Nurses seeks a compassionate Palliative Registered Nurse to support patients with serious illness in a home or community setting. You will manage symptoms, develop care plans, and educate families with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and coordinate comprehensive care plans.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do as a Palliative Registered Nurse:

• Symptom Management: Palliative care nurses are experts in managing pain, nausea, fatigue, shortness of breath, and other symptoms associated with serious illnesses.


• Develop and implement care plans, and medication management to alleviate discomfort


• Care coordination and education: Palliative care nurses coordinate care among various healthcare professionals, ensuring that patients receive the necessary support and treatment.


• They educate patients and families about their illness, treatment options, and what to expect as the illness progresses.

Who you are as a Palliative Registered Nurse:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in sensitive situations.
