Corus Medical in Albuquerque is seeking a Palliative Nurse Practitioner to provide home- and community-based palliative care with autonomy and a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted NM NP license.
- MSN or DNP from an accredited program; board certification.
- Hospice experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive palliative care assessments addressing physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
- Manage complex symptoms using evidence-based approaches.
- Lead goals-of-care conversations and advance care planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and the care team.
- Evaluate transitions to home health or hospice services.
- Document care plans and regulatory-compliant decisions.
