Deaconess Palliative Care, part of LHC Group, is seeking a Palliative Care Nurse to deliver direct patient and family care through palliative consultations and to ensure specialty services for patients with serious illness.

The role requires RN/APRN licensure in the state, prescriptive authority, BCLS, CPR, and 5+ years of clinical nursing experience. ACHPN certification is encouraged after 2 years of employment. Salary ranges from $90,650 to $135,976 annually, based on full-time employment.

Qualifications

• RN/APRN licensure in state of practice.
• Nurse Practitioner/CNS with prescriptive authority.
• BCLS licensure and CPR certification.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience.
• ACHPN certification encouraged after 2 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient and family care through palliative care consultations.
• Incorporate palliative care knowledge to formulate a care plan.
