UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a licensed social worker to provide psychosocial assessment, counseling, care coordination, and resource navigation for patients and families in palliative care. Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Work and an applicable state license (LCSW) or eligibility within 1 year; preference for experience in palliative care or hospice.

This role p rovides comprehensive psychosocial assessment, counseling, care coordination, and resource navigation for patients and families receiving palliative care services. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate care planning, support transitions across the continuum of care, and advocate for patient and family needs.
Location: This position is located 100% onsite.
Work Schedule: This position is scheduled for four 10-hour weekday shifts (8:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m.). No weekends or holidays.
Demonstrated experience delivering direct clinical counseling services; background in palliative care or hospice preferred.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
