Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana is seeking a compassionate Palliative Care RN to support patients and families facing serious illness. This role focuses on holistic care, symptom management, and patient advocacy across care settings.

You will collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and hospice teams, coordinate services, and participate in advance care planning while maintaining a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of practice; compact license must transfer within 60 days of employment.
BSN from an accredited institution; education will be verified.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

Coordinate care and serve as a navigator for palliative care patients and their families.
Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and available resources.
Assess symptoms and collaborate with providers to support symptom management plans.
Triage patient and family calls, questions, and care concerns.
Coordinate services across primary care, specialty care, hospice, home health, and community resources.
Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the patient's healthcare journey.
