Position Overview: In affiliation with the University of Arizona, Banner-University Medical Center Phoenix seeks an experienced Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician. The role offers mentoring, resources for academic development, a faculty appointment, and opportunities to expand Hospice & Palliative Care services and teach students, residents, and fellows from the University of Arizona.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered hospice and palliative care, demonstrating expertise in medical specialty.
• Provide didactic and clinical teaching to care staff, residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Engage in research to improve disease management and advance educational programs.
• Participate in systemwide Palliative Care, Geriatrics, and Integrative Medicine Clinical Consensus Groups.

Minimum Qualifications:

• American Board of Internal Medicine certified or eligible.
• Fellowship-trained in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday with some weekend call coverage.
