Job summary

The San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living seeks a Palliative Care Nurse Manager to advance nursing practice for residents through direct care, leadership, coaching and education. You will work with the Chief Nursing Officer and Clinical Leadership Team to develop high-quality palliative care programs.

Responsibilities include building a palliative care program, educating staff and families, collaborating with the Medical Director, updating policies, tracking metrics, and leading quality

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN license
• Minimum of 2 years RN clinical experience preferred
• MSN in Adult Gerontology preferred
• Palliative care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a palliative care program.
• Educate physicians, staff, patients/residents and families on palliative care.
• Collaborate with Palliative Care Medical Director to deliver and expand services.
• Develop, review and revise care protocols, policies and procedures.
• Audit and report program outcomes and quality metrics.
• Manage panel of 50–75 residents, triaging consults and follow-ups.
• Ensure billing and documentation compliance with leadership.
