Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a compassionate and innovative physician leader as Community Palliative Care Medical Director to guide clinical excellence while expanding palliative services across Central Massachusetts.

This role will oversee inpatient programs in Leominster and develop a new inpatient program in Marlborough, with an emphasis on teaching, collaboration, and patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Palliative Care.
• Completed Palliative Care Fellowship training.
• Must hold an MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license.

Responsibilities

• Lead inpatient program in Leominster and develop a new inpatient program in Marlborough.
• Drive strategic growth of palliative care services across two community campuses.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship within a multidisciplinary team.
