The University of Florida is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Palliative Care Physician to join the Department of Medicine as an OPS/PRN, part-time faculty member. The role includes inpatient consultations and teaching responsibilities for medical students and residents at UF Health Shands Hospital.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Palliative Care.
• Eligible for Florida Medical License.

Responsabilités

• Provide inpatient palliative care consultations for medically complex adults at UF Health Shands Hospital.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows and other health professionals.
• Collaborate across oncology, hospital medicine, critical care, cardiology, neurology, surgery, geriatrics and other specialties.
• Engage in quality improvement, program development and educational initiatives.
• Pursue opportunities to collaborate with investigators in palliative care and serious illness research.
