Tufts Medical Center's Division of Palliative Care seeks a compassionate Palliative Care Physician to join our interdisciplinary team.

This faculty position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while contributing to medical education, research, and program development at a nationally recognized academic medical center committed to advancing palliative medicine through innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine.
• Outstanding teaching skills and an interest in research are required.
• Team player eager to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines to champion research innovation.
• Interest in research, quality improvement, or program development is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consultative and ambulatory palliative care at Tufts Medical Center and our collaborative physician network.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows as part of Tufts University School of Medicine's academic mission.
• Participate in innovative quality improvement, research, and palliative care initiatives at local, regional, and national levels.
• Support growth of outpatient and community-based palliative care services, if interested.
• Pursue leadership opportunities, including potential Fellowship Program Director responsibilities for qualified candidates.
• Faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine commensurate with qualifications.
