  • Participate in innovative quality improvement, research, and palliative care initiatives at local, regional, and national levels.
  • Support growth of outpatient and community-based palliative care services, if interested.
  • Pursue leadership opportunities, including potential Fellowship Program Director responsibilities for qualified candidates.
  • Faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine commensurate with qualifications.

The Division of Palliative Care at Tufts Medical Center is seeking a compassionate, collaborative Palliative Care Physician to join our growing interdisciplinary team. This faculty position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while contributing to medical education, research, and program development at a nationally recognized academic medical center committed to advancing palliative medicine through innovation and collaboration.

The role includes a mix of inpatient consultative and outpatient palliative care, with opportunities to participate in teaching, quality improvement, research, and other academic initiatives based on your interests and experience.

The Palliative Care Attending Physician will:

Compensation:

Tufts Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. A Tufts University School of Medicine appointment will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications. You will also receive Substantive retirement plan, CME Funds and Time Away, Generous Vacation and Holiday Policy.

The salary range for this position is $230,4916 to $261,334 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
