Job summary

Finlays Solutions seeks a Downline Operator to stack pallets, replenish materials, and clean work areas in a warehouse setting. Expect strenuous lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, standing, and temperature fluctuations. Adherence to GMPs and safety procedures is required to ensure product integrity and efficient production.

The role requires good English skills, basic math, and the ability to follow SOPs. Weekend/overtime may be required as business needs demand.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Basic math skills including weights, measures, and calculator use.
• Knowledge of basic computer and control systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively within the organization.
• Basic food processing and safety knowledge is a plus.
• Team oriented, respectful, adaptable, and reliable.
• Strong time management and accuracy under changing demands.
• Comply with SOPs, GMPs, and safety procedures.
• High school diploma or GED or 2 years in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow SOPs and GMPs for Manufacturing.
• Follow safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Palletize finished goods for storage.
• Stage and organize packaging materials for downline operations.
• Assist line drivers with baler machine operation.
• Dispose of downline waste and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain case coder operation and ink cartridges as needed.
• Clear jams and reset lane counts in tray packer.
• Allocate packaging materials before/during/after production.
• Load correct materials into tray packer and adjust labels.
• Adjust label rolls and timing as required.
• Verify product lot numbers and SKUs during production.
• Communicate across departments to maintain operations.
• Assist with cleaning machines to maintain cleanliness.
• Document production loss time accurately in RedZone.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Wear PPE as required.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Work in other areas as needed and on weekends/overtime.
