Job summary

Finlays Solutions is seeking a Downline Operator in Minden, NV to stack finished pallets, replenish materials, and keep the area clean. This role requires heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, bending, and exposure to varying warehouse temperatures.

You'll follow GMPs and safety procedures, stage materials, operate the case coder, and ensure accurate lot and SKU verification during production runs. Regular attendance and weekend/overtime work may be required.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, weights and measures, calculator use.
• Knowledge of basic computer and control systems.
• Ability to communicate both written and orally within the organization.
• Basic knowledge of food processing and food safety.
• Team oriented and cooperative attitude, reliable and adaptable.
• Efficient time management and ability to handle changing demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Strong work ethic, motivated, hands-on problem solver.

• Entry-level testing with passing scores.
• HS diploma or GED, or 2 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow SOPs and GMPs for Manufacturing.
• Follow Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
• Palletize finished goods for storage.
• Stage and organize packaging materials (trays, glue, labels).
• Assist line Drivers with cardboard baler machine operation.
• Dispose of downline waste (cardboard, bands, label rolls).
• Maintain case coder operation: dates, placement, cleanliness, ink cartridges.
• Clear jams and reset lane counts in tray packer.
• Allocate packaging materials before, during, and after each run.
• Load correct materials into tray packer (trays and glue).
• Change/install label rolls and adjust labels as needed.
• Verify product lot numbers, case codes, and SKUs during runs.
• Maintain communication with all departments.
• Assist with cleaning machines to maintain cleanliness and operation.
• Document loss time production details in RedZone.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment for safety and product integrity.
• Wear PPE as required.
• Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
• Work in other areas as needed and perform other duties.
• Work weekends and overtime as needed.
