Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a robotic palletizing operator with sit-down forklift experience. The role requires adherence to safety rules and food safety/quality policies while operating palletizing machines to collect cases according to product SKU and line.

The position involves using SAP for data entry, following safety protocols, and maintaining cleanliness in the palletizing area. Overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• PIT Certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Ability to work independently when needed.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to climb stairs as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies including LOTO, PPE, PIT and Housekeeping.
• Maintain safe and healthy workplace and reinforce Safety as a Core Value.
• Monitor robotic palletizing machines and ensure proper SKU/line stacking.
• Enter data into the SAP system.
• Communicate with leads and supervisor regularly.
• Keep pallets, slip sheets, and supplies ready for use.
• Operate the HMI and troubleshoot basic faults.
• Ensure product specs and corrective actions as needed.
• Keep palletizing area clean and organized.

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday + Overtime/Weekends

2nd Shift: 2:00PM to 10:30PM

3rd Shift: 10:00PM to 6:30AM

Job Summary:

MUST HAVE SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE.

This position has the responsibility to always comply with Safety work rules as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensures that all policies, procedures, and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed, and complied with uniformly, to reduce product and process variability.

The purpose of the robotic palletizing operator is to monitor the robotic palletizing machines, following all safety policies and procedures, as they collect cases/cartons according to product SKU and line.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety policies such as LOTO, PPE, PIT and
• Assumes personal responsibility to insure safe and healthy workplace for everyone.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks.
• Adhere to safety policies such as LOTO, PPE, PIT and Housekeeping
• Operate the robotic palletizing machines ensuring cases are properly stacked according to product SKU and line.
• Ensure all full pallets are indexed and wrapped with plastic.
• Enter data into the SAP system.
• Maintain frequent communication with leads and/or supervisor.
• Keep empty pallets, slip sheets and other necessary supplies on hand for the job.
• Work through the HMI (Human Machine Interface)
• Determine if product meets proper specifications or not and take corrective action as needed.
• Stack cases of product manually as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and general good housekeeping of the palletizing area, keeping all debris and dirt swept up.
• Clear case jams and reset machine and pallet count when/if needed.
• Troubleshoot basic machine faults and follow prompting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification
• Ability lifts to 50 lbs. safely when handling pallets for hand stacking finished outgoing product.
• Ability to work independently at times.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to travel stairs.
