Job summary

dfa is seeking a Palletizer who will be responsible for stacking, organizing, and securing finished products onto pallets for storage and shipment. This role involves ensuring that products are handled safely and prepared for transportation while keeping a clean work environment.

Key responsibilities include stacking products according to specifications, wrapping and labeling pallets, and assisting with inventory counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment when authorized.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Stack products onto pallets according to established procedures and customer specifications (Automated Stacking).
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or quality concerns before palletizing.
• Wrap, band, or secure pallets to ensure product stability during transport.
• Label pallets and complete required documentation accurately.
• Move pallets to designated storage or shipping areas using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
• Maintain production pace to meet daily output goals.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse or production tasks as assigned.
• Communicate equipment issues, safety concerns, or product discrepancies to supervisors.
