Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America in Cedar City, UT is seeking a Palletizer to stack, organize, and secure finished products on pallets for storage and shipment. The role ensures products are handled safely, palletized to company standards, and prepared for transport while maintaining a clean, efficient work environment.

You will follow procedures, inspect for damage, wrap and label pallets, operate pallet jacks or forklifts if certified, and support inventory and other warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and production environments.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment when authorized.

Responsibilities

• Stack products onto pallets according to established procedures and customer specifications (Automated Stacking).
• Inspect products for damage, defects, or quality concerns before palletizing.
• Wrap, band, or secure pallets to ensure product stability during transport.
• Label pallets and complete required documentation accurately.
• Move pallets to designated storage or shipping areas using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
• Maintain production pace to meet daily output goals.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse or production tasks as assigned.
