Job summary

Kimberly-Clark is seeking a Palletizer Operator to maintain and monitor palletizing equipment, ensuring safe and efficient production.

The role requires basic math, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends. Forklift experience is preferred, and candidates must pass pre-employment checks and safety training.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • 1+ years of continuous work experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
  • Basic computer knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug and background screening and PAT (Physical Abilities Test).
  • Understand and follow safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor palletizer equipment during operation for safety and efficiency.
  • Respond to minor stops, jams, or misfeeds to keep palletizers running.
  • Assist with equipment set-ups and changeovers per production schedules.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments (e.g., clearing jams, resetting equipment).
  • Conduct routine checks for pallet patterns, stack quality and product stability.
  • Communicate equipment issues to leads, maintenance, or supervisors.

About You

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.

You will be maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work. In this role, you will:
  • Monitor palletizer equipment during operation to ensure consistent, safe, and efficient performance
  • Keep palletizers running by responding to minor stops, jams, or misfeeds
  • Assist with equipment set‑ups and changeovers according to production schedules
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments (e.g., clearing jams, resetting equipment, adjusting guides)
  • Engage in activities that support normal operation conditions (e.g., centerlining checks, rounds, standard work)
  • Load pallets, slip sheets, and other materials as required for production runs
  • Conduct routine checks to verify pallet patterns, stack quality, and product stability
  • Communicate equipment issues or repeated stoppages to leads, maintenance, or supervisors
  • Follow all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all time
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area around palletizing equipment

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate
  • 1+ years of continuous work experience.
  • Have basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills
  • Are able to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening
  • Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT)
  • Understand and follow safety requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year manufacturing/ industrial experience or equivalent Military education/training
  • Forklift experience

  • Employee must not be on a current Performance Improvement Plan
  • No Written Warning (Level 2) or above within the year prior to the expiration date of the posting. An employee’s receipt of a Written Warning (Level 2) or above at any time from the posting expiration date to the date the employee transitions into the new role, will deem the employee ineligible for the promotion.

Starting Hourly Wage: $20.68 USD

This position is eligible for the starting wage listed above, overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year.
