Job summary

Tyson Foods in Goodlettsville, TN seeks entry-level palletizer positions. You will retrieve boxed products, inspect for quality, and stack boxes on pallets in a refrigerated environment.

This is a non-skilled, full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule and possible Saturdays. Pay is $21.85 per hour, with potential overtime. You must follow PPE and dress code and may be subject to background checks.

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITIONS INCLUDE: Applicants will be considered for any open entry level non-skilled palletizer positions.

Schedule/Hours

A Shift: Monday - Friday with possible Saturday's - 6:30 AM - until finished

Pay - $21.85/HR

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Retrieve boxed products from conveyors and place them on the appropriate pallets.
• Visually inspect products for quality, including label placement, label accuracy, package integrity, and cleanliness.
• Stack boxes on pallets according to established palletizing specifications.
• Maintain compliance with all food safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.
• Report any product quality, equipment, or safety concerns to management.
• Arrive prepared for work and comply with all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and department dress requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Use both hands to grasp, handle, and move products throughout the work shift.
• Walk between conveyor lines and pallet locations as required.
• Reach approximately 18 to 28 inches to pick up and place boxes.
• Lift, carry, and stack boxes weighing approximately 9 to 50 pounds, depending on product specifications.
• Stand and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time.
• Push, pull, and exert force ranging from light to heavy, depending on product weight and job responsibilities.
• Use both hands simultaneously while performing essential job functions.
• Work in refrigerated conditions with temperatures generally ranging from 36°F to 42°F.
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the work shift.
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by production needs.

• Exposure to refrigerated production environments.
• Exposure to moving machinery and conveyor systems.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
• Fast-paced production environment requiring attention to safety, quality, and efficiency.
