Opal Foods is accepting applications for the Stackoff position at our Hampton Processing Plant in Hampton, IA. The role involves stacking boxed eggs onto pallets and supporting the production lead with various projects as needed.

The candidate must be able to lift 25‑45 lbs up to 5 feet, stand and walk for long periods, and follow all safety, bio-security, FDA, SQF and GMP policies. Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, are required. Opal Foods is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Follows all Opal Foods Policies and Procedures including but not limited to Safety, Bio-security, FDA, SQF and GMP
• Requires walking, standing, turning, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination
• Must be able to establish and maintain good relationships and communication with co-workers
• Must be dependable and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stack boxes and crates onto pallets after cartons are boxed and crated
• In charge of monitoring and fixing tape machine
• Help other positions and clean up as needed
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure correct pallets, labels, and proper sealing
• Transport eggs from Processing to the Cooler and unload carton trucks as needed
• Lift 25-45 lbs. up to 5 feet high to place on stacked pallet
