Job summary

Opal Foods LLC is seeking a Processing Plant Manager for our Hampton, IA egg processing facility. You will lead daily operations, supervise the processing team, and ensure safety, quality and efficiency targets are met. This role demands hands-on leadership and the ability to teach/train staff across shifts.

The candidate will manage timecards, drive biosecurity programs, and maintain regulatory compliance while pursuing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or relevant field.
• 3-5 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Prior experience in an Egg Processing Facility.
• Excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to achieve goals set by Corporate Management.
• Lead safety and bio-security programs for the facility.
• Lead site processing operations to meet targets and improve efficiency.
• Coach and develop processing team members for success in assigned tasks.
• Review timecards and manage team member performance.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and quality programs.
• Oversee processing maintenance activities and capital projects.
• Drive continuous process improvements aligned with company goals.
• Review processing reports, analyze trends, and maximize efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
