Job summary

48forty Solutions in Bryant, WI is seeking a dedicated Sorter to hand sort pallets and materials in a fast-paced distribution facility. You’ll contribute to safety, accuracy, and efficiency while moving items through the yard and production lines.

You’ll stack pallets, load/unload by hand, check loads, and coordinate moves with the yard system. A high school diploma or GED and strong communication are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills needed.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the facility.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate directly with plant management regularly.
