Job summary

Rehrig Pacific is seeking a dependable pallet sorting operator in New Jersey. You will safely operate a large pallet sorting machine, perform inspections, and possibly operate a forklift with training provided. A strong work ethic and safety focus are essential.

The role requires physical effort, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and teamwork with diverse colleagues. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with on-the-job training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn operating pallet sorting machine and forklift.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a large industrial pallet sorting machine to sort pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade.
• Perform hands-on inspections and manual sorting as needed.
• May operate a forklift (training & certification provided) to load/unload trailers and move materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace through Clean as You Go practices.
• Lift up to 70 lbs consistently and perform repetitive motions throughout your shift.
• Meet production and quality goals while collaborating with your team.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by site leadership.
