Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a dependable worker to operate our SMETCO pallet sorting line in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You will sort pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade, perform inspections, and assist with loading/unloading as needed.

This position requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, work on a team, and learn forklift operation (training provided). Great benefits, paid time off, and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn machine operation and forklift operation (training provided).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a large industrial pallet sorting machine to sort pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade.
• Perform hands-on inspections and manual sorting as needed.
• May operate a forklift (training & certification provided) to load/unload trailers and move materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace through “Clean as You Go” practices.
• Lift up to 70 lbs consistently and perform repetitive motions throughout your shift.
• Meet production and quality goals while collaborating with your team.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by site leadership.
