Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is hiring for a Warehouse Pallet Sorter to join our Petersburg, VA team. This role focuses on maintaining safe, efficient operations while handling pallets and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include sorting pallets by manufacturer and grade, inspecting for repairs, and meeting production goals. Training for forklift use is provided; prior forklift experience is a plus. Join a family-oriented, safety-focused environment with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Pallet jack familiarity is required or common; forklift experience is a plus (training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience in a production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade through visual inspection.
• Identify and assess repair needs using established criteria.
• Meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Follow safety protocols to help achieve PTZ goals.
• Support the team by performing other duties as assigned by site leadership.
